Mothman — The Transformer

Mothman exists as a tulpa — a force conjured by collective fear, a being we try to keep at bay. But he is not the enemy. He is change itself. And change is not always bad. It is always necessary. He is a being of ash, born from the Void — the space that exists outside of the Flow. The Void is not darkness. It is potential before it has taken shape. Mothman arrives before things shift because he is the shift announcing itself. He is not a horrid creature. He is beautiful. Terrifying the way all beautiful necessary things are terrifying. His grace is this — once we stop fighting him, once we learn to accept that change will come whether we are ready or not, we can move with it instead of being swept under. He is the only being who moves freely between the Void and the Flow. He is still learning to be gentle with those who are not ready yet.

Grace: accepting change as a natural force rather than a threat.
